Herman Miller, arflex ReStore, ZARA HOME
Our first overseas pop-up after launching OFRAME took place in Tokyo, at a name almost anyone with an interest in lifestyle and design would recognize: TSUTAYA.
With global lifestyle brands such as Herman Miller, arflex ReStore, and ZARA HOME thoughtfully curated throughout the space, it felt like one of the most natural places for OFRAME to present our own perspective on space and movement. More than simply introducing our products abroad, it was an opportunity to see whether the values we had been building in Korea could resonate in a different city and culture.

“Office buildings are emptying out, while the content economy is expanding at an extraordinary pace.”
This was one of the ideas that came up in our meetings as we prepared for the pop-up at TSUTAYA ELECTRICS.
In the age of AI, anyone can become a creator, and we are moving toward a world where individuals can build and lead businesses of their own. As the cost of creation approaches zero, what will ultimately set one person apart from another may be the originality of their inspiration—and how skillfully they can direct and orchestrate AI agents to bring that vision to life.

The offices we once knew are no longer enough for the values emerging today. Workplaces can no longer be defined simply as places to work. They need to become environments where people find inspiration, exchange ideas, and create—but very few offices were originally designed with that purpose in mind.
What we need now is a new kind of basecamp. Calm surfaces that reduce visual noise. A desk that responds naturally to the movement of the body. A chair that supports a more balanced posture. Each element should help create an environment where people can think, focus, and make something of their own.
This is also where TSUTAYA in Tokyo found common ground with OFRAME’s philosophy. The focus was not simply on furniture, but on the complete environment surrounding a new generation of creators living and working in a changing world.
